We use a small chapel in which to worship and pray for our own personal Pentecosts. Climbing up stairs to reach it, the place reminds us of the Upper Room where the disciples prayed for several days between the day Jesus ascended into heaven and the day the Holy Spirit descended onto each of them.

Pentecost Liturgy

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2:1-4)

Lord Jesus, give me the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s power to live what I have been learning through this Virtual Pilgrimage, its scriptures, its meditations and its prayers. Amen!
